In 2015, Merlijn (right) and Kevin (center) launched the online store DonsShop.be, emerging from an overstock of down blankets and pillows. Due to its success, the stock sold out within a few years, after which the project came to an end.

Meanwhile, Kevin and his brother Robin (left) founded Decomundo, a company specializing in stylish furniture for both indoor and outdoor use. Merlijn, on the other hand, further developed his digital skills at an online marketing agency, but their relationship never waned; he was responsible for Decomundo's online campaigns.

Merlijn and Kevin's persistent ambition to launch an online store, fueled by their experience with DonsShop.be, continued to linger. That's why they decided to join forces again in 2022. With their now-developed expertise, they developed a new concept: Design Master!
